Happy New Year from The Cometbid Technology Foundation! As we kick off 2026, we're excited to share our roadmap for the year ahead. This is the year TCTF goes from foundation to platform — a place where tech professionals connect, collaborate, and build together.

01What We're Building

TCTF is becoming a full platform for tech professionals worldwide. Think of it as your professional home — a place to build your profile, connect with peers, collaborate on projects, and grow your career. Everything runs on secure, scalable cloud infrastructure built from the ground up.

Spring: Your Account, Your Identity

02Spring: Your Account, Your Identity

The first thing you'll experience is a secure, modern sign-up flow. Create your member profile, set up two-factor authentication, upload your avatar, and customize your profile URL. We're also launching an achievement system — earn recognition as you contribute, collaborate, and grow within the community.

For our admin team, a dedicated helpdesk dashboard will streamline member support with ticket management, account tools, and audit logging.

🔐

Your TCTF profile is your professional identity. Customize your URL, showcase your skills, and start building your reputation from day one.

03Summer: Connect and Communicate

This is when TCTF becomes social. Connect with other tech professionals, share posts, react, comment, and build your network. A personalized activity feed keeps you up to date with what matters most.

Search across the platform with instant results and smart suggestions. Set your privacy preferences to control exactly who sees what.

We're also introducing subscription plans and a secure payment system. Whether you're hiring for a project or getting paid for your work, TCTF handles the money with built-in escrow protection — funds are held safely until milestones are delivered and approved.

🛡

️ Built-in escrow means you never have to worry about payment disputes. Funds are released only when work is delivered and approved.

04Fall: Build Together, Launch Together

Create projects, invite team members, submit proposals, and track milestones — all in one place. Whether it's an open-source initiative, a paid freelance project, or an internal team effort, TCTF gives you the tools to manage it from start to finish.

Paid projects with proposals and escrow serve as the primary way to find and offer work on the platform. Post what you need, review proposals, and collaborate with confidence.

This is also when we open the doors. The public launch brings onboarding guides, multi-language support, and a polished experience ready for the global tech community.

🚀

Fall 2026: TCTF opens to the public. Create projects, find collaborators, and get paid — all on one platform.

05Winter: Go Mobile

Take TCTF with you. A native mobile app for iOS and Android launches in November, with offline support, push notifications, and biometric login. Stay connected to your network, respond to messages, and track your projects from anywhere.

December rounds out the year with platform polish — voice commands, message translation, and calling improvements that make the experience smoother and more accessible.

06Looking Ahead: 2027 Preview

The roadmap doesn't stop at launch. In 2027, we're planning a full job board with recruiter tools and company profiles, a learning academy with courses and certificates, AI-powered features for smarter project matching and notifications, and tools for organizations to manage teams and governance at scale.

We'll share more details in future newsletters as these plans take shape.

07Stay in the Loop

This newsletter is the first in a 12-part monthly series tracking our progress through 2026. Each month, we'll share what shipped, what's coming next, and behind-the-scenes stories from the engineering team.

Subscribe to make sure you don't miss an update. And if you're a developer interested in contributing, reach out — we're always looking for people who want to build something meaningful.

2026 is the year TCTF goes from vision to reality. We're building this for you — the global tech community — and we can't wait to show you what's possible. Here's to a productive and ambitious year ahead.

Built to Last: Why Sustained Collaboration Is the Future of Tech Teams

Most platforms optimize for transactions — post a job, hire, move on. TCTF is built around sustained collaboration: long-term teams, milestone-driven projects, language support that breaks barriers, and a community where everyone — not just developers — has a seat at the table.
